We got given some squash the other day. I tried yellow squash once and wasn't a real fan, so not sure if these will end up on our plate, but they looked just gorgeous to me!! The colour is a beautiful pale green with the stems a darker shade. I couldn't help myself, just had to take some photos with the squash sitting in prettier surrounds than on a dinner plate!
Aren't they cute? I wonder how long they will last as a decoration?

They are quite beautiful aren't they? I think the quilt is the best setting for them, picks up the pale green nicely. They look as if they are made out of porcelain actually.
Hello Annette,
I remeber growing these years ago. I added them to my son's baby food, I can't remember them tasting of anything much though. He is now 6foot 6 so they must have some vitamins in them.
Lovely decoration for around the home.
Happy days.
Hi Annette,
They are cute! I love squash myself! After many years of pleading, even my hubby will eat it now. He just sprinkles a bit of nutmeg on his. Yummy! Thanks for stopping by for a visit and your sweet comment about my granddaughter! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
