Through the glass door

On the top shelf of our hutch I have a mixture of pink and green cups, saucers, plates etc that I've collected at various places over the years.

Here are a few shots of what is in one corner. The cups, bowl and plate came from an old church that was closing down. I love the subtle curves and shape of them.

Aren't churches wonderful for finding old glass and china! I went to the fete of the church across the road from us and found a whole box of cut glass (which I love)that they were getting rid of from their kitchen. I have often worked in church kitchens washing up etc and found cups and saucers and plates that are amazing.

Pretty colours, I like the subtle fluting (don't know what else to call it) on the pale green cup and saucer set.
