Time in Adelaide

A couple of weeks ago I spent a few days in Adelaide catching up with a few of my sisters,  which is always an enjoyable time.

We shared some meals together, went out for coffee and breakfast, shopping, movies, visited Mum and a family friend, watched the sunset at Brighton/Hove and on the whole had a fun and relaxing time.

Here we are (minus our older 2 sisters who couldn't be there that night).

And then the next morning we went for coffee at a new place on The Broadway at Glenelg South. It was an old home that has been turned into a gallery/coffee shop. Each room has eclectic mixed of art works and themes...quite interesting.
I took this photo of the girls outside of the place. I can't remember what it was called!
A couple of us went and saw My Big Greek Wedding 2, which was very silly but good for a laugh as we expected it would be.
I was staying with one of my sisters which is about 400 metres from the beach so one night we headed down on dusk and caught a wonderful sunset. I couldn't stop taking photos! I think I might print a couple out on canvas and put in our family room. Haven't decided which ones yet out of the many I took. Here are a few.

Whilst down there we visited Ikea and I picked up handy shelving unit with top and legs to go into our bedroom. It took a while to put together, but am really happy with it and it's useful for that extra storage.

Ta daa!!!

That's about it for now.

Hope you have enjoyed your weekend, they seem to come and go so fast!

Sounds like a great time was had by all! Sisters are pretty awesome, hey?
Gorgeous sunset pics, I like the one with the rushes...

I'm heading to Adelaide for a girls Mother's day weekend and hope to go to the movies. The film Mothers Day should be out so I hope to see that.
We are also going in the Mothers Day Classic which is a walk/run thingy for Cancer research. We are only doing the 4.3 km walk but there is a 7km run and walk too. There's no time limit so it should be a fun morning walk...I hope!

I don't hink I have anything on my list for Ikea stuff - I am happy with the chest of drawers and bedside tables I got for the girls rooms. So fresh and neat. Maybe a trip there is in order....

Cheers - Joolz xx
