My pink quilts

Over the years I have collected a few pink quilts and a couple of pink cushions. I've laid them over a dark pink chenille bedspread that I purchased for $3 at a garage sale.

And I'll leave you with a picture of my favourite Rose, the Pierre de Ronsard.

I will be joining Beverly for Pink Saturday. Pop over and view other blogs who have dedicated their post to Pink!

Hi Annette, We often had chenille bedspreads when I was little and I always got in trouble for pulling at the yarns! They were so soft! Linda

Annette, I love quilts, too, and you have such a nice collection of them. I love the pink of your spread, too, and I can't believe you found it for that price! Good find! And that rose is about the most beautiful thing ever. I love the color. I love the way it looks. GORGEOUS.

Happy Pink Saturday to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

I think years ago that most everyone had a chenille bed spread. The original ones are hard to find, and if you do, very costly.

Such pretty quilts, Annette! I remember having a chenille bedspread on my bed when I was growing up. I still like them. Happy Pink Saturday and enjoy your weekend.

Blessings,
Sandi

Chenille seems to be making a come back now that shabby chic is coming around again. $3 is a steal. Quilts are always a beautiful addition to any home. Have a great weekend. Tammy
